The Aligner Series
All aligners in the planned series, manufactured by Align Technology and shipped to the clinic in batches. Delivered to you at progress visits, no per-aligner fee.
Attachments and IPR
Composite attachments bonded at the start of treatment and removed at the end. Interproximal reduction (IPR) when planned to create space without extractions. Both are part of the package, not extras.
Check-In Visits
Every 6 to 10 weeks throughout treatment. Tracking review, next aligners handed over, hygiene check. All visits included, no per-visit fee.
Refinements
Comprehensive: unlimited within the case period. Moderate: up to 6. Lite: up to 2. Essentials: 1 limited refinement. Most cases need at least one refinement at the end to perfect the result.
Final Retainers
One set of thermoplastic retainers per arch included. Optional upgrade to Vivera retainers (manufactured by Align Technology, more durable) at additional cost.

1. Insist on a Specialist Orthodontist
Some general dentists offer Invisalign but lack specialist orthodontic training. Treatment is more predictable and outcomes more reliable when planned by a specialist. Picasso has two Platinum Elite specialist orthodontists.
2. Confirm What's Included
Ask specifically: are refinements included? Are check-in visits included? Are final retainers included? Some clinics quote a low "treatment" price that excludes these, then bill them later.
3. Get the ClinCheck Before Committing
The ClinCheck simulation shows your predicted outcome before manufacturing starts. If a clinic refuses to show it or rushes you to commit before review, walk away.
4. Verify the Tier Is Appropriate
Some clinics upsell to Comprehensive when Lite would do. Some others quote Lite for cases that genuinely need Comprehensive (and you'll pay for refinements later). A second opinion is reasonable.
5. Beware of "Mail-Order" Aligners
At-home, no-clinic mail-order aligner systems are not the same as Invisalign. They are typically much cheaper but the lack of specialist supervision creates real clinical risks. We do not offer or recommend them.
6. Ask About Refinement Fees
Most cases need at least one refinement to perfect the result. Confirm refinement coverage at quoting time, not after. Comprehensive includes unlimited; lower tiers include limited or none.

Foreign Insurance
We do not bill foreign insurers directly. We provide complete documentation (itemised invoices, treatment notes, X-rays, ClinCheck records) that you submit to your home insurance for partial reimbursement.
Maximising Reimbursement
Request your foreign insurance's "predetermination" letter before treatment, which confirms what they will reimburse for orthodontic treatment overseas. We provide treatment-plan documentation in the format your insurer requires.
Payment Methods
International credit cards (Visa, Mastercard, Amex). Bank transfer (USD or VND). We do not accept foreign cheques or cash for amounts above 50 million VND.
Staged Payments
For Invisalign cases, payments are typically staged: ClinCheck planning fee, balance of treatment at start, refinement fees (if applicable) at refinement time.
Quote Validity
Written quotes are valid for 90 days. Pricing has been stable for the last 3 years; we do not surprise patients with mid-treatment price increases.
Refunds
If you decide not to proceed after the ClinCheck simulation, your ClinCheck fee is non-refundable (covers the planning work). The treatment cost is not charged unless you commit.

What is the ClinCheck planning fee?
It covers photographs, digital case set-up and the ClinCheck simulation. You see your predicted outcome before committing to treatment.
Are there hidden costs in Invisalign treatment?
No. We provide a full written treatment plan with line-by-line pricing before any treatment starts. Refinements are included as per your tier. Retainers are included. The only optional extras are upgraded retainer types (Vivera retainers) or attachment removal at the end (typically included).
How do I know which Invisalign tier I need?
